Macy started cross-country running in 2013. She participated many trail races in China and Taiwan in these two years. Macy prefers longer distance over 50K and would like to explore different race courses all over the world. Unluckily, about 60% overseas races that Macy joined were terminated or seriosuly shortened due to bad weather. Macy earns the nickname of “Dark Phoenix”due to this “extraordinary luck”.Macy regards competitions in Hong Kong as carnivals or gatherings with friends. She enjoys the overseas races as holiday trip. It is a good chance to experience the culture and lives all over the world. Ng Kwok Lun, Allen (吳國倫)
Allen Ng started trail running in 2010 and joined many local trail races. Trail running set him free and the scenic beauty of countryside is unforgettable.Trail running links up with different parties and friends. Allen is one of the founding members of Asia Trail Team. Trail running also gives him a chance of testing different gears. How to choose the ideal running gears is a kind of Art.Allen loves hiking and camping with friends during leisure time.

Tam Kar Bik, Sophia ( 譚家碧 )
After a long time full commitment in orienteering, Sophia decided to spend more time in trail running so as to participate in the UTMB one day! Oxfam Trailwalker was a good stepping stone for the path. HK100 played a key turning point and Sophia equipped herself through that so can start exploring the trail outside Hong Kong in 2012. She eventually finished the UTMB, achieving the longtime goal, represented Hong Kong in the skyrunning world championship in 2013, and got 5th at the STY (UTMF) in 2014. She’s now enjoy exploring trails in other forms than pure racing.

Pong is an ultra papa runner who keens on running in different aspects.
Pong was a team member of shark costume team in Oxfam Trailwalker to spread the message of “no shark fins”
Pong was a philosopher in ultramarthons and participated in 24hours, 48hours and 246km ultramarathon. Longer distance means more time for self reflection.
He won awards in trail races such as Raleigh Challenge – Wilson Trail 156km, HongKong 168 and UTMT etc.
Pong had joined few overseas races in 2019 and looking forward for breakthrough in the future.

A fairy tale about a piggy pursuits of freedom, happiness and friendship on trails.
Piggy is not so competitive and not fast enough but loves trailing running and enjoys this kind of social gathering. Piggy tackled the challenges and finished many local trail races and few overseas races.
Piggy is lucky enough to be one of the founding members of Asia Trail Team. Team together everyone and achieves more. Piggy is proud to be the back up power in team.

Stefano, a Nordic Ski ex athlete and Instructor, moved to HK in 2006. He taught us the techniques of using trekking poles in trainings and races.

|Chan Kin Ming, Simon ( 陳健明 )
Simon Chan started his running in 2013. He was a sub 3 marathoner with PB 2h53m. He stepped up in ultra trail races in 2016 such as HK 168 and Oxfam Trailwalker.
Road running and trail running require different techniques and training approach. Simon wants to keep both. Two doggies Cola and Milk are the training partners of Simon. They give him the motivation of training.

Chan Kin Ming’s Featured Race Experience:
|Yuen Wan Ho, Isaac ( 袁允灝 )
Isaac started his running career as casual runner. In 2014, he joined Oxfam Trailwalker with friends from Kin Hang Hiking Group. Since then he started attending various trail running and ultra-running races in Hong Kong and Asia. He finished third overall in Asia Trail Master Series in 2016 and ranked sixth place in subsequent year.

KT was a newbie of trail running in 2016. He had proved his potential, talent and improvement in the past three years.
KT showed his incredible heat endurance in 2017 Garmin and claimed the overall 1st runner up for his first solo 100K. Other race highlights included the overall champion of V162 and TTF in 2019.
He looks as wild as a wolf but as friendly as a shepherd dog on trails.

Kin San enjoys participating in marathon and long distance trail running. “Running and trail running let me know more about my ability and limitation. It helps me to control my temper as well.”
Kin San loves to go camping with his kids and friends during holidays. He loves his family and wants to become the role model of his kids. “Let see what I am capable of and run the best race I possibly can”

Wai Hei is one of the best and experienced youth trail runners in Hong Kong.
Wai Hei started doing sports at primary four. When he was secondary one, his parents go hiking with him. He loves hiking very much. Then, he tried trail running and joined some trailing running races. He found it was interesting and exciting. Wai Hei participated different trail running races in Hong Kong with great performance.
Trail running also allows him to have chances to join overseas races and exploring new things. You can find the passion and persistence from Wai Hei.
